16, Wednesday - My sister's Wedding
I attended my sister's wedding. The weather that day was great. The wedding ceremony was fantastic too. Although she is my younger sister, I felt that she had suddenly grown up. She left and "dumped" my brother and me. (laugh) In the wedding ceremony I sang the song "Sora mo toberu hazu" and my brother played the song for me. He also sang his own song. Our harmony was just outstanding! After the ceremony, I was asked for autographs by a bunch of people.(laugh) Those people included the staff, the groom's relatives, and my sister's high school friends. Since I thought I needed to bring excitement to the wedding ceremony that day, I signed autographs for the whole day. |

24, Sunday - Filming "Ai no kodoba"
Since
we needed to film a promotion video for the song "Ai no kodoba", we took
off at 4:00 a.m. and headed to a hill in Hamamatsu. Because of the rain,
we postponed filming until the afternoon when the rain finally stopped.
We ended up having our breakfast and lunch at a place like a cafeteria
which is near the hill. (laugh) I couldn't even sleep, or I would have
puffy eyes. At that time I was very jealous of Tetsuya who was wearing
sun glasses. (laugh)
Because of the rain, we could see a lot of rainbows. "Here it comes again," I said, as it has been a long time since I saw that many rainbows. I took a picture when there were two rainbows appearing at the same time. (They are called "double rainbows".) Unfortunately, the picture that I took with the rainbows doesn't show the rainbows very well. (laugh) Although I don't hate going out to film promotion videos, I really have a hard time to get up early in the morning. In the past I used to say,"If our songs becomes more popular, we will go out and film more often in the morning." However, after we became popular, the schedule became tight and it is difficult to have spare time for filming. When the schedule allows us to do it, we don't have time to do so. When we have time to do it, the schedule doesn't allow us to do so. That's just the way it goes. I really think so recently. Before we debuted, I used to have a lot of time to write songs. (laugh) Now, I don't even have time to memorize new friends' names. It becomes harder to find time to write songs. |
From other members: Masamune
Sakiyama:
Masamune becomes a horrible person when he drives. He often gets angry.
Tamura: He isn't good at changing lanes and often ends up going somewhere else. Even though he likes reading maps, he is very weak in geography.(laugh) Tetsuya: Anyway he does his own thing! Sakiyama: He is also the champion of "being late"! Tetsuya: He is just never aware of his good and bad sides. You can say that this is his good side, or bad side..... Sakiyama: Masamune is also a type of person who won't stop reading onces he starts. Tetusya: He can really concentrate on that. Tamura: I remember that there was one time when we only had two hours to rehearse, he was two hours late. When we asked him why he was so late, he blamed the book he read in the bookstore. Masamune: I kept reading it in the bookstore. I ended up buying it. (laugh) Tamura:
The other day when we had an event, there were a lot of croquettes sold
in that area. Actually, they were quite good. When the staff asked Masamune,
"Which shop has the best croquettes?"
He said it's Lawon (a convenience store). (laugh)

How
to feel happiness?
I think it's probably when you are free from worries. For example, when you have a pain in some wierd area, you go to the hospital and later find out you are actually ok. You think, "It's painful!" and worry what is going wrong. It is the happiest time when you later find out there is nothing wrong with you. Because of this reason, one can't have a happy life with no worries. (laugh) After we feel happiness, we should keep looking for something else to worry about. (laugh) |
Blue
Heart
When Blue Heart (a band's name, not sure if this is the right name) came out, I thought, "they are very out-dated, but how can they be that cool?" I have been to their concerts twice during the early stages, but I could hardly remember how it was. I think people can't see this kind of concerts anymore, and I am a little bit upset. The first time I saw their concert I was wondering if I should chase them. (laugh) I was thinking about whether to quit the band and chase them instead. (laugh) |
What's
the last word?
I think it's probably something like "whea.....wheat tea." (laugh) "Wheat tea" I will say, and then die right before I drink it. (laugh) Don't you think it's possible? I think it can be real. |
Playstation
Since I bought a playstation at the end of last year, I also bought the game "Final Fantasy VI". At the end, I kept playing it until my brains got fried! (laugh) The music is very good too. I was thinking if I should buy the CD. However, my girlfriend said to me, "Can you quit?" I ended up not buying it. |
Spiders
Spiders actually have a very mysterious image. When I was a kid, my family killed other insects but not spiders. In the past, I was told that it is a good thing when you see a spider in the morning. (?) I sometimes believe this kind of superstition. |
My
songs
I
like asking my girlfriend to listen to my songs. I don't like asking her
to listen to me singing, though. It is very embarrassing. This time when
my sister got married, no matter what happened I had to sing anyway. I
asked myself, "What should I do?" I was planning to sing only one
song and I thought I could get away with it. Yet my mom called me and said,
"You should sing about 3 songs," I replied, "I can't do that!" (laugh)
When I hear my song playing on a radio, I will change the channel right away. It is embarrassing even though I am the only one who is listening. The other day, I heard "Namido ga kirari" playing on FM Yokohama. When I changed the channel to TFM, it was playing the same song too. Wow! I was surprised. (laugh) |
Favorite
flower
In the past, when I chated with girls, I often asked, "what kind of flower do you like?" They often said something like sunflowers. Actually I also like sunflower. However, when I said, "I like dayflowers!". They replied, "Dayflower is not a flower!" I argued, "Dayflower is a wonderful flower." |
Karaoke
I don't go to Karaoke very often, probably only few times a year. Since I have a high voice, I often can't find songs with a higher key. Hence, I don't have many favorite songs for Karaoke. If I really have to mention one, it's probably something like "Shitsuren Restaurant". (laugh) |
My
comment to the fact that "Robinson became a big hit"
Sometimes
when everybody was happy for me, I thought,"Are they actually lying to
me?" (laugh)
When we get down to the business, I wondered why it ended up like this. When I wrote this song, I thought this was too down-to-earth and it shouldn't be released as a single. Now I think about it all over again, and I think becoming popular in this way doesn't give me much pressure. |
