into Okinawa!
| I have stayed for about two weeks at the place of my friend whom I met in Tokyo. I walked around the whole island and went to see "Nenezu no Live" at a bar-like place where there are performances. The food there is extremely delicious. I also went to see a sea turtle and a sea snake. If I had gone to Okinawa for two months, I would have not come back now. (laugh) |

| For our generation, this was the place in which a lot of people who were considered gods have performed. In fact, Budoukan (a place where a lot of performances have been held) is suprisingly small. We were suprised to find out that, compared to seeing the place from the seats, the place seems much smaller from the stage. By the way, this is probably the first and the last time that Spitz will perform in Budoukan..... |
Sauvage
hair
| When I met Tetsuya, it was the time when we were attracted by Fumiya (a vocalist of a band called "Checkers"). At that time, Fumiya's sauvage hair was very popular. I thought, "should I also try sauvage hair?" DC brand was also very popular at that time, since other brands were too expensive for me, I bought a second hand's. Since I was living by myself at that time, I only had a small mirror at home. Looking at that small mirror, I thought,"I look fine." One day when I walked down the street, there was a building with a lot of big mirrors. "There is a guy who looks really ugly!" I thought while I was looking at those mirrors. Actually that person was ......me. (laugh) It was very bad. I thought I can't leave it like that. Thus, I went to a barbershop nearby and got a haircut like Sho Geoggie (a Japanese singer who has a very short hair). |
Miso
soup 
| Actually, I
hated miso soup when I was a child. I couldn't eat it at all, but my mom
kept forcing me to eat it. Even though "Heidi" (a Japanese animation)was
already on.....(laugh) Although I wanted to watch "Arupusu no shojo Heidi",
I couldn't watch it as I hadn't finished my miso soup. I spent two or three
hours just staring at it, with tears all over my face. Nevertheless, now
that I am grown up I like it. Now I like food that I used to hate when
I was a kid, such as cheese and "natto" (fermented soybeans) As a down-to-earth
person, I love all scallop-types of food...... Somehow I look as if I am
making an electoral speech now. (laugh) I guess clams are the best. If
I ran for an election, I wondered if I would be elected. (Audience: Yes,
yes!) Don't vote for a guy who always jokes around like me. (laugh)

Unpopular
guys' rock
| After all, unpopular guys who keep listening to records in a room can suddenly create great music. I also think this is the music which emerged from revolution and hunger. Actually, half of the stuff I've said is about me. (laugh) Although up to elementary school I was not a typical kid who was bullied, I was a so-called miserable child. I cried very often. "I'll play a supporting role, and I'll probably never have a chance to play a main role," I was thinking. Because of this reason, when I watched a TV drama, I believed the main cast might think, "It finally came to me." I don't care about tje life of a handsome guy anyway. (laugh) I may be considered as a contrary person. |
First
time postponing concerts
| Sptiz Tour includes 70 night concerts in total, and now 30 of them are already finished. At first I thought everything would be fine, but I broke down as soon as I went back to my hometown in New Year. In fact, I recovered from fever pretty quick. Nevertheless, my throat still hurt. As a result, the Kyushu series had to be postponed. Hence, I am very sorry for the fans from Nagasaki, Kagoshima and Miyazai. This was the first time I could't speak at all and I was very surprised too. In fact, throat is an organ that has to be taken very good care of. Same as my throat... |
Suprisingly
realistic!?
| I am not a romanticist,
and I can't stand myself acting recklessly. I am a type of person who always
thinks carefully about everything. I also don't believe in ghosts and UFOs.
I am not saying that I disavow all these right away, but I am the kind
of human being who often doesn't believe things that I simply heard from
others. I believe that I am a very realistic person. This probably helps
me come up songs that are quite rebellious. "Am I a person who just sings
on the street?" If I thought of it this way, I would be disappointed. (laugh)
For example, when I chated with Mr. Children's Sakurai san in a radio show,
he said something about which female teen idol he likes. Although I gave
him a very kind and friendly look, I didn't receive this look from him
when I talked about the same stuff. (laugh)
I am forgiven for making pervert-like comments, something such as "When I see a girl, I look at her collarbone right away" and "I like girls who don't shave hair beneath their wings". (laugh) I am usually forgiven when I say something like that. Nevertheless, when I say,"Max (a 4 girl group) is also ok to me" like other teenage boys do, I receive a very bad response. (laugh) |
