Pollenosis
 

I had a very serious nasal inflammation this year. Since I didn't go to see a doctor, I really doubted if it was due to pollenosis or standing in the limelight. I also heard that people living in rural areas usually do not get allergies.

 

I was born to sing 
 
 

Yeah....I think so, since I have nothing but this. I am serious. It would not be possible if I suddenly went to work in an office, since I have become a guy who cannot fit into society.  I might be ok if I tried hard enough..... (laugh) Still, I think it's already too late for me to change.  Besides, I believe I am here merely because people come to see my performance. Nevertheless, I think I would continue singing, even though there were no such people. Thus, for people who come to see my performance, I am very thankful to them. Still, I think I would sing without them.  I thought I would continue playing music with this borne in mind forever. Humn....now I think it will only last 2 or 3 years. After all, turning 30 is probably a big thing for me. (laugh)

 
 

Spitz 99'
 

We would like to try various interestings things, such as trying some great but strange way to record. (laugh) It would also be nice if we could record overseas, or do it ourselves. (laugh) It is not necessary for us to stay in a studio all the time. It wouldn't be too bad even if we sang in a bathroom. (laugh)  Anyway, we would like to try various experiments this year. No matter it is about recordings or concerts.

 

Computer life
 

I have been reading homepages on the Internet since about summer last year. Although I bought a computer as if it was a necessity, it has been covered with dust. I finally got a friend to help me out to set it up. It was very very interesting. It is just like a library.  The first things that I was very into were the homepages about countries and sovereignties. (laugh) Since I am an eccentric about maps, I asked myself, "is there a homepage about this street?" As I opened these homepages, I found a lot of information about local famous products or areas (something like that). I also checked if there is detailed information about ethnic minorities. As I used the search engines to look for this information, it was very interesting.

 

The message board of Spitzbergen
 

I sometimes writes on the message board of Spitzbergen, probably twice a month.  This is also very interesting. I usually receive quick replies. For example, when I talked about what artist I am currently keen on on the board, I was quickly informed that this artist has just released a new work. I then went to CD store and bought that CD right away. Although I don't email very often, I think it is wonderful to have this kind of information exchange.

 

Spitz's image
 

As far as the Spitz's image is concerned, to a large extent, (I know) this is what people have in mind. However, I want to get rid of this image. It's about time. I want to change our image which is like the song "Sora mo toberu hazu" as soon as possible. That doesn't mean that I hate this song, but somehow I turned out writing something like "Zumetai hoho" in the album "Fake Fur" again. (laugh) There is not much I can do about it. I've already released these.  Although this is a part of myself, I think it is somewhat lonely when it turned out only like this. Even though I don't hate a blue sky image, it is somewhat different than I thought. Even though it is an image of a blue sky, it could be a blue sky seen from a broken house in an abandoned land. It would be great if it was like that. You are standing on an abandoned land, but what you see is a clear blue sky. On the other hand, when you are standing on a huge grassland, what you see is a cloudy sky. (laugh)  I would like to see a cloudy sky from an abandoned house. I think I have to get a chance to go there. (laugh) I also like fundamental (or simple) pop songs.......Yes. If I write a pop song which doesn't have a dark side at all (in a situation when no one asks me to), people probably ask,"Why did you do this?" Something without a dark side.....That would be great if it turns out like that. (laugh)

 

Not enough exercise?
 

Recently I often don't have an appetite to eat even though it is time to have supper. I think it is probably because I don't have enough exercise.(?) "Should I start snowboarding?" It's probably not suitable for me. Even though I was told that it's not suitable for me, I am very enthusiastic now.  "You'd better quit it!" Someone says something! It is also ok to do some simple exercises such as push-ups, but it is no fun. It would be great if I had a lot of cute snowboards and skateboards.....
