"Please Save My Earth" is one of my most favourite Japanese comics. This is the only comic that make me extremely emotional whenever I read it. ( Even though I've read it for a hundred times )

As a girl, I totally understand that why girls love reading girl comic so much. It is because reading girl comic can let them fall into the world of romance and stay away from the reality. ( The reality is cruel. You'll never find a guy who has a pair of eyes which is as big as stawberrys. Also, you'll never find yourself being chased by a group of cute guys. ) However, I admited that there are a lot of girl comics with bad quality in the comic market.

Nevertheless, "Please Save My Earth" is best of the best.Even my sister, who is not a fan of Japanese comic at all, says it is a comic with an excellent setting and content.

Those people who are not interested in girl comic ( or who are guys ) may not be able to understand the "beauty" of "Please Save My Earth". It talks about all kinds of human relationship: romance, friendship, revenge, homosexual, miscommunication, forgiveness....At the end of the story, it brings out the main point - learn to forgive your enimies, forget the unhappy past, and welcome the future.

The main character Ring is a seven year old kid, and I love him most. He suffered from having memories with two persons, and he couldn't think rationally. He plays the good and the bad in the story. His character underwent quite a few major changes. ( from a kid to an adult, from naive to evil, from normal to crazy, and from crazy back to normal ) It took him a long time before he could get back to normal.

To those who can't stand the big piece of pink color getting into your eyes when passing by the girl comic corner: This one is an exception!
