            Spitz vs Glay

      I think I am not supposed to talk about Glay in this section. (^^;)

      Don't get me wrong. I am not trying to tell which one is good or bad. In fact, I love both of them. (^o^)

      Actually, I have struggled between these two when I decided to create a section of my favourite artist/band for my homepage.  I  plan to pick only one band to write, since I don't have time to update two at a time.

      Most of my friends know very well about the fact that I was crazy with Glay when I was in Japan. (Otherwise I won't go their concert three times while I haven't been in any of the Spitz's concert yet.) I think they are a very cool band, and they play the music that I like.  I like going to their concert because they make me hyper.

      Compared to Glay, it took me a longer time to develop the passion to Spitz.  When I was in Japan, I always thought that I was much fond of Glay music. I didn't discover that I was listening to Spitz CDs more often than Glays'. I didn't discover that Spitz music was giving me a significant influence to my music preference. I finally realized my preference to Spitz when I watched their concert video "Jamboree 1 Live".  "God, they play awesome music!" That was my reaction at that time.  (Now I regretted that I didn't go to their concert while I was in Japan.) They play a type of music that cannot be found even similiar from any other bands. The influence I received from Spitz music is totally different from Glay's.

      Glay = fun, cool, exciting
      Spitz = uniqueness, images, enlightments, inspirations

      Bands including B'z, Bowey, Southern All Stars and Mr. Children are often considered as the greatest bands in Japan. Spitz would be the one often overlooked by other people. In my opinion, with no doubt, Spitz is one of the greatest's in Japan. I think I am so lucky that I can understand Japanese, or I wouldn't have known such an awesome band called Spitz.
